Weekend in Narragansett, Rhode Island

Last weekend I traveled with my sorority to Narragansett, Rhode Island. It was one of the first weekends where it felt like spring! The vacation town was quiet because it is still the off season.

Narragansett is just under a two hour car ride. If you are looking to get out of the city this was a fast and easy vacation spot. We rented zipcars and I walked 10 minutes to my car which was conveniently parked in a parking garage.

Our first stop- Food! We found a local hot spot called Crazy Burger Cafe and Juice Bar. The Cafe is a health nuts dream, and even if you aren't a health nut you will quickly fall in love with the sweet potato fries. I had a vegan burger and fresh squeezed carrot and ginger juice. It was amazing. All us girls gave it two thumbs up!

On the way back to the car we found an open art gallery...

After lunch I headed out with a few sisters to the beach. The wind coming off the water made it feel a lot colder so we bundled up. I always find the beach calming at it was great to just look watch the water and hear the waves crashing.

On day two the weather was a little warmer and another group of hit the beach! I wanted to see the "castle ruins" as we called them. This stone structure probably wasn't a castle but we dubbed it that.

This was an amazing weekend getaway! I definitely recommend it!
